Did you now that Sotherby’s, the auction house, mails out catalogs to its top 10,000 customers? Me neither. These catalogs are pretty large, running hundreds of pages. Sotherby is cutting back on the paper and will be sending a USB stick instead this July. Amy Todd Middleton, Sotheby’s worldwide director of marketing, thinks that one day Sotherby’s catalog can be distributed on a Kindle.
